The band is cooking
It does not have to be the best sound, but this ain't bad. Great set list and great jams. PPL guys sit in at the end. Nice Show. Lowell is on fire.

Lowell in Chapel Hill
I was at this show, way back when, not a great venue for sound but the song selection and the show made up for it.
A couple of things that come to mind were the heat inside Charmichael, having the Hotel Edlo (Lowell's RV) parked out front of the arena, and how wasted Lowell was. With a cowboy hat on backwards.
When he came back after Day at the Dog Races, he tried to jump on the stage rather than using the steps, and sort of rolled off.
He had to have a little help getting pointed in the right direction. but his slide work that night was absolutlely smoking.
The sound quality here is not great, but the energy and set list make it one to hold on to.

If you ever had the joy of seeing Little Feat live this show will take you back. This captures the guys at the top of their game. Lowell seems particulary energized and having fun. This is a great set list, w lots of my favorites.
Unfortunately, like so many of the LF shows from this era the quality is not stellar. Very good for an audience recording but not something I'd play a 2nd time w/ any kind of volume.
5 stars for show but 4 is as good as I can do overall
